Electric cars to revive British car sales in 2022
Car sales in Britain last January recorded the largest increase of seven months, thanks to the increase in demand for cars.
And data from the Association of Car Manufacturers and Dealers in Britain revealed that new car registrations rose last month by 25 percent.
Electric cars accounted for twenty percent of total sales.
The association had expected earlier that car sales would recover this year, with the decline in the problem of semiconductor shortages in the auto industry and the increase in demand for electric-powered cars, according to Bloomberg news agency.
It is noteworthy that car sales in Britain rose by only 1.5 percent in 2021 to reach 1.65 million cars, due to continuing supply chain problems and their impact on the industry.
