From July 2021 to the end of January 2022, the Egyptian Association for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance released the most licenced electric automobiles, "new and used," by brand.

The Volkswagen brand ranked first for electric cars licensed during this period, with 82 cars.

   

During the same time period, Tesla electric cars came in second with 30 automobiles, followed by BMW with 16 cars as the most licenced electric cars.

   

Hyundai came in fourth place with 14 vehicles, followed by Fiat with 11 electric vehicles, and Porsche in sixth place with ten vehicles.

Kia ranked seventh with 8 electric cars, and Chevrolet ranked eighth with 8 electric cars, and the ninth place went to Jack with 6 cars.

   

With six electric cars apiece, Chery and Jack rated 10th and 12th, respectively. Mercedes ranked 12th with five electric automobiles.

   

The Changan brand came in thirteenth place with 5 cars as well, and in the fourteenth place came the Smart brand with 4 electric cars.

The Egyptian Association for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance, in collaboration with the Al-Ahram Foundation, released a monthly report detailing the number of vehicles that were compulsorily insured and licenced in January. It indicated that 45,683 new automobiles had been licenced.

   

The licenses for new vehicles during the past month included 23,429 owners' cars, 13,475 motorcycles, and 4,332 transports. The report also confirmed that the number of vehicles

   

According to the Majmaah study, the most licenced brands in January were With 2,186 vehicles, Chery took first place, followed by Hyundai with 2,137 vehicles.

    

The South Korean brand Kia came in third place with 2071 cars, Suzuki fourth with 1894 cars, and Toyota in fifth place with 1807 owners cars.
